595 vacant post in Punjab state co-operative banks to be filled soon

To overcome the acute shortage of staff in the Punjab State Cooperative Banks (PSCBs) across the state, Punjab government will so soon recruit 25 Senior Managers and 70 Managers through direct recruitment besides 500 Clerks-cum-Data Entry Operators.

Punjab’s Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today approval for the proposal of Punjab State Cooperative Bank to fill these vacancies so that the Core Banking System (CBS) could be implemented in the right earnest.
The newly appointed Senior Managers and Managers would be entrusted with the task of handling the latest banking facilities of ATMs/RTGS/NEFT/CTS in these banks. Meanwhile, the Clerks-cum-Data Entry Operators would be recruited through the designated recruitment agency in a centralized manner on the basis of merit of written test and would be posted in the 20 Central Cooperative Bank and Punjab State Cooperative Banks in the state.
